I was so happy to participate in the 4th International Conference on Traditional & Alternative Medicine, held on July 20-21, 2026, in Tokyo, Japan.
Because I believe that traditional and alternative medicine deserves its due recognition and its rightful place in modern civilization, I have taken on the role of ambassador, participating in important events like this whenever possible.
I believe that modern medicine, especially that with a purely materialistic vision, has now revealed some of its limitations and flaws, which traditional and alternative medicine can put a healthy brake on.
Mankind, as I have said many times, Humanity has made some bad choices, two in particular: the first was when it chose quantity over quality, thus favoring the development of greed and consequently, anxiety and tension in general, which are today the main enemies of our health and even of our immune defenses.
Among other things, greed, anxiety and tension are unfortunately now an integral part of normal human existence.
Humanity's second grave mistake was to prioritize work over health, placing it among its most important objectives.
To rediscover a healthy lifestyle and prevent all ailments, traditional and alternative medicine, with its comprehensive interpretation of the human constitution, can play a truly important role from now on, thanks to the wisdom of its principles and the knowledge and management of all aspects of the human constitution. With its principles, it can also foster a return to respect for nature, both within and outside of us. It takes into account both the physical and material manifestations of the human body, as well as those considered non-physical, such as emotions, the mind, and the spirit the latter of which are almost totally ignored and, consequently, poorly managed in contemporary civilization.
In conclusion, I hope for an increasingly fruitful return of traditional and alternative medicine, and personally, I am truly grateful to the organizers of this event for inviting me and offering me the opportunity to share my views on this topic.
I also hope that events like this will have the success they deserve, because by bringing together the best of every perspective, we can one day lay the foundations for a new medicine of the future.
